Here’s DAY 01 of your Beauty Cabinet Detox Challenge!
Pull EVERYTHING out of your beauty cabinet, drawers, bags, and vanity. Check expiry dates (or PAO symbols — the little open jar icon with “6M/12M”). Toss anything expired or past its prime.
Here’s what you should know:
- Most skincare lasts 6–24 months once opened; makeup 3–24 months (mascara = 3–6M, foundation = 12M, powders = 24M).
- Expired products harbor bacteria → breakouts, irritation, infections.
- Natural formulas (without heavy synthetics) often have shorter shelf lives but are safer when fresh.
Our clean, natural products use stable botanicals and minimal preservatives — they stay effective longer when stored right (more on that later!).
